The 3-spot swimming crab, easily identified by the trio of dark spots on its rear carapace, is caught in good volume along Pakistan’s coastal shelf and has a steady following among crab importers who want an alternative supply line to the blue swimming crab category. Ahadi sorts and cleans this crab live before freezing, which keeps meat quality high and avoids the flavour loss that comes from freezing already-dead stock.

Whole crabs are graded by carapace width and weight so buyers can order to a specific size band for boiling, steaming, or further processing into picked meat. Each batch is block-frozen and packed in 10 kg or 20 kg master cartons, sized for both container-load export orders and smaller trial shipments for buyers testing the species in a new market.
